About weddings on the garden

Christ Congregational Church is located in Palmetto Bay on a 5-acre campus in a lush tropical setting. We are located less than 2 miles from the historic Deering Estate on Biscayne Bay in Southwest Miami-Dade County. Christ Congregational Church offers both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. We have the distinction of being the only church in Miami with an outdoor rock garden chapel that is available for both day and evening ceremonies. We welcome non-members to Christ Congregational Church and encourage you to attend our Sunday informal, outdoor worship service in the garden at 8:55 A.M. or the indoor service at 10:30 A.M. to become acquainted with our church family and philosophy.

About Christ Congregational United Church of Christ

Christ Congregational United Church of Christ is a community gathered for the worship and service of God, seeking to follow the way of Jesus in the world today under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are a diverse and growing community where every person is welcomed, accepted and cherished. We endeavor the build a loving and caring community where children, youth and adults can grow in their faith and in their capacity to follow Jesus. We resolve to share the love we have from God by giving of ourselves, our time, our energy and our financial resources toward caring for all of God’s creation and building a more just and caring society.

Worship is at 8:55 and 10:30 a.m., with some exceptions on special holidays and during hot summer months. Programs for children and youth coincide with the 10:30 a.m. service and fellowship with coffee and goodies in the Kelsey Building usually follows each service if we’re not meeting for a Luncheon in Fellowship Hall instead.
